Cranberry Apple Crunch

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups tart apples, peeled and chopped, in medium dice
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup white sugar

Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup U.S. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Preparation:

Combine apples, cranberries and sugars in a 3 quart casserole.

For Topping, mix oats, brown sugar, and flour, chopped nuts and melted butter.

Spoon topping over cranberries and apples.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
